it's been awhile...

So yeah, I know I haven't updated in a while but really, there hasn't been much happening.

I did get the leave thing straightened out and while it's not FMLA, I've been assured that my job will be there for me when I'm set to come back.

I planted flower seeds last week and already they are sprouting! I am SO excited about this. Generally, I have a black thumb and tend to kill off anything living that isn't human or animal. Anyway, the little green sprouts make me smile and watching the crocus bulbs I began dealing with way back in December begin to grow and show green shoots just makes me feel good all over.

I'm officially in the second tri-mester. It's a good thing my maternity clothes showed up because most of my shirts were just making me look really fat. Needless to say, I am *much* more comfortable now and feeling pretty good. Yesterday I had a small setback with an earache but over the course of the day, it seemed to go back where it came from.

I am addicted to Scrabble. I went through all the downloads and freebies and finally couldn't take it anymore and just bought the damned game on CD-ROM. I think yesterday I must have played about five hours worth. Yeah...I've got too much time on my hands.
