Lawdy, it is SOOO gorgeous outside, I cannot even begin to express my gratitude to Mother Nature for giving us sunshine and breezes today! When I got home from work (another accomplishment in itself-5 days in 2 weeks), Kebby was waiting for me to see if I was interested in walking outside with her. I was DEFINITELY on for that! We went down and around Memorial Park and back up through the hills of the neighborhood and it felt really good to have the sunshine on my face. I dream of more days like this.

As I said before, I made it in to work today and got my 4 hours in. I did a bunch of different things today-some legal stuff for Dan the Man, looked up bankruptcies for Jennifer, and worked another report for Sonja. It felt good to be productive, and the report I brought home on Friday gave me 4.5 hours to apply to Wednesday since I'm seeing the doctor that day and won't be in the office. It's going to be nice to not have to ask for so much help from my parents when this paycheck hits my account next month.

Pampers. Yeah, I said it. This weekend held a coupon for $1 off any jumbo or bigger package of diapers and Slime Meats had them on sale (although, dummy me picked the ones that *weren't* on sale but figured I'd need them anyway and went ahead and bought them). When the clerk ran them through, I got a cash register coupon for $1.50 off so she applied that to the purchase today and that made them a little more reasonable. Those of you who have my address, could you please watch for Pampers and Huggies coupons for me? I'm not buying a ton just yet, but I would like to start getting a pack here and there so we'll have plenty when October rolls around. Today's trip resulted in the kind for newborns, with the umbilical spot on the diaper cut away. They've found their home in the back of the craft room/nursery closet and that's where they shall stay until I can get around to making the diaper stacker (which I won't have a place for until we get a crib).

I came home to find Bud in my bedroom, working on our light fixture. Yesterday he tried to replace lightbulbs but learned that the water damage from the storm caused some trouble with the fan and today he is setting out to replace the fixture completely because the fan, while working, sounds a bit like a car without a muffler. While I appreciate his speediness with the fixing, he's a little slow with the progress. Alas, I just need to be more patient.
