2003-12-15 - 6:53 p.m. Today I baked cookies and made Trix (well, Trix-like) Treats and I think I've had enough of holiday "baking" for the season. I made a triple batch of Nestle Tollhouse cookies-first time ever using butter and I can tell you this: they don't look the same as they do when you use margerine. Anyway, all the cookies are finally done and the Trixlike Treats just need cutting and storage and they'll be good to go. I made them the way you'd make Rice Krispie Treats only with the Looney Tunes cereal-it looks and tastes suspiciously like Trix only the balls are smaller and it was $.79 cheaper than Trix. I had to do the corniest, most cliche thing ever-I had to go next door to Kebby's and ask to borrow sugar! I *knew* I should have checked everything before I commenced into cookiedom. It was a good idea I picked up some vanilla extract as what I had was somewhat chunky and vanilla extract isn't supposed to have chunks in it. I want to thank Cheryl (another friend who probably never reads this but deserves recognition) for the beautiful dove pewter ornament with my name on it that arrived today. Lands End was a surprise when I got home from the doc's today. Thank you thank you thank you! Dr D is sending me to Dr Kolbeck tomorrow-the OB/GYN that I will be going to for my pregnancy(ies) to check for endometriosis, cysts and fybroids to rule them out. Chances are I'll be having some kind of laproscopic work in the next few days (crosses fingers) to see what's happening in my plumbing in case that is what is causing my pain. I really have to get this thing under control as it is really taking a toll on my life: I can't work, have to depend on G and my parents to get me by financially, and spend all my time at the doctors. My biggest hope is that to fix all this, I won't have to have important stuff removed (ie the big H). I want to have babies or at least one, and I need that stuff to have one.
