2003-12-08 - 1:24 p.m.

I think I'm trying to be more domesticated since we've moved into this new apartment. Then again, I'm on a lot of pain medication and that could be causing the strange and incredibly unusual behavior.

It was ME who talked to the landlord and got us this apartment. It was ME who moved 95% of the items from #3 to #1. It was ME who went and picked out the new furniture and was here when it was delivered. It was ME who set everything up and began making #1 our new home.

Since we've lived here, I've baked a cake, ran the dishwasher regularly, hell-I even dusted and mopped (well, used the dry and wet Swiffer) today. I'm trying to break us from the habits of piling things on usable objects and trying to make this a fresh start for us. A new home, a new beginning.

Now if only I could find a place for everything we've moved...
