Going down to the kidneys to see the Stones...

Stone is still with me, if I'm feeling correctly. Pain, are you back there? *yes* Okay, it's still there.

have been antsy around the apartment because I finished HP5 on Monday (? my days all blur together anymore) and I don't know what I feel like working on. I stayed up until 1 reading The Nanny Diaries, a book a friend from the postcard fairies sent me for my birthday, but I didn't read the whole thing. it's very hot in the apartment (I've been trying to run it sparingly as Greg pays that bill and our monthly rating will most likely chance soon if I'm running it at the time of the switch) but I'm hurting too much to do any tapes or go for walks. If I take my prescribed vicodin every 4 hours, I'm likely to just sleep all the time which doesn't sound like a bad idea only I won't sleep at night and that's a problem. Greg woke me briefly to say goodbye this morning and ask if I needed anything when he gets out of there-I *do* remember telling him to get a gigantic Gatorade for me but the rest is fuzzy. I woke up at noon and figured it was time to get up. That night guard I got from Dr Hottie DDS (I mean Dr Torosian, my dentist) has really improved my sleep, that's for certain, although during the day I notice more when I clench or knash my teeth together.

I've asked my doctor if the meds I take are contributing to my stones and he said "Anything's possible." but my uro doesn't think they are. My body is just catching up with me, and since my stones are calcium, I've got to watch my blood levels because irregular calcium in the blood is a sign of thyroid inbalance.

*update* I have finished The Nanny Diaries and can say I wasn't thrilled with it. Going to have to go through my book stash and see what sounds like good reading right now...
