Pain.

Pain greeted me in my shower today. Pain I am familiar with and do not wish upon anyone (except maybe Laura W from high school who was mean to me for no reason since she was a complete nerd or maybe the SSGEP). My right kidney said, or rather screamed, "HELLO!" when I bent over to shave my leg. I knew what it was as soon as I bent over, but as quickly as it arrived, it departed. This leads me to believe I've got a stone working its way out and this will lead to yet another visit to either Dr Hong or the emergency room-neither of which I really can afford right now. I'm tempted to call my primary's office and ask to talk with the M.A. who sees Dr Hong too and see what she thinks I should do. I hate to do the "wait and see" thing, because in case you've never passed a stone but have had a kid, from what I'm told passing a stone is comparable or worse.
