The wobbles are at it again. No, not the Wiggles (hugely pimped over at %%diary-unclebob%% due to it's preschooler lovin' nature), the wobbles. As in "The barometric pressure is kicking everyone's ass today and while we're at it, you won't be able to walk straight-only zig zag until you feel like you're going to fall into something, or over something." Yeah, those are back.

Another thing that is back, for the most part, is my hearing and I cannot even stress enough how happy this makes me. So what if I've been eating hot dogs every day for at least a week and have been having DQ Blizzard cravings nightly, dammit, I can hear again! I'm down to the once a day dose of 20mg of kryptonite, so I should be done with it before I go see %%diary-oddly-enough%% next week. Good thing too....I don't want to eat her out of house and home while I'm there. She's going to hate me enough for dragging her out into the heat to get some walking in....

The G has officially accepted an offer from Marketing, which should mean some good coin coming our way. He spoke with his current officer as well as his current manager, both of which told him that while they don't want to push him out, he has been doing that job for six months now so as soon as his desk and computer and phone are ready for him on the 18th floor, he's welcome to go. This is a breakthrough for him, since he got an award for 10 years of service just 2 months ago and had been trapped in the land of Cardmember Services for several years with no sight of freedom. I'm due for the same award in August-I somehow doubt mine will be celebrated with a promotion....
